Is A Life Without Limitation

We are extremely proud and protective of our good reputation in the addiction and recovery community and to that end, we do not provide links to other sites arbitrarily.  We receive several requests per week by organizations asking for their link to be placed on our site and in many of those cases, we choose not to, and here are some of the reasons:

  • We visit each site we link to so we can see if it is something that will give value to our visitors.  We do not link to sites whose sole purpose is to sell a product or service that has little or no educational value.  That would include most sites selling pharmaceuticals used for treatment, or as an adjunct to treatment.
  • We do not link to sites that have approaches or philosophies regarding addiction and recovery that are based on exaggeration, fear, distortion and misinformation.  (Obviously, that eliminates a lot of sites from consideration right off the bat.)
  • We do not link to sites that hide behind a variety of domain names and pretend to be something other than who and what they really are.  (they know who they are)  Many addiction and recovery sites on the Net try to exploit the visitor's vulnerability because they are in desperate need for themselves, or for a loved one.  Not only do we not link to such organizations, we do our best to expose them.

Yet we're always looking for good links, but we have standards and frankly, they're high.  So if you're aware of a site, a forum, a blog, a message board, or even a book that you think would be an effective link on the All Positive Options site, please let us know by clicking HERE.
