The KCI Meth Forum is now part of the Yuku Network, and is specifically related to all aspects of methamphetamine addiction and recovery. In our opinion, this is arguably the best meth forum or board of this type on the internet, and our Chief Information Officer is a member of this board. Here you'll find fellowship, information, support, advice and encouragement from a wide variety of people, most of whom are either in recovery from meth addiction themselves, or have a loved one struggling with, or recovering from meth addiction.

Whether you have a technical question about meth, or just need someone who will listen, this is where you're going to want to go. They also have a chat room. The activity level on the KCI site is extremely high, equipped with a full complement of moderators, and it's not unusual to post something on this site and have a reply in minutes.

They are also very liberal with respect to what you can post, but of course normal and reasonable guidelines for message board behavior apply.

American Methology

This forum was developed by one of the most active, and knowledgeable members of the KCI Forum, (screen name - "forget suzette") In our opinion, Susie has a great deal of knowledge and wisdom about the dynamics of addiction and recovery in general, but when it comes to "hands-on" real-world knowledge about meth, look no further - she's "been there, done that." There are other members of the KCI forum that belong to American Methology as well, and they are, in our opinion, equally qualified to render advice.

Just click on the title above, and once you're there, instructions on how to register are posted. This forum is also liberal with respect to what can be posted, but as with the KCI forum, normal rules of conduct apply.

CrystalMeth B.C.

The introduction on the CrystalMeth B.C. site states: "We aim to be your central resource database and communications channel regarding the Crystal Meth problem in B.C. This site offers hope, through education and communication. This site is volunteer run for parents, educators, families and youth."

And that pretty much sums it up. It's a great site, tons of resources, and a very active forum. If you're in British Columbia and involved in the meth issue on any level, you're not going to find a more relevant forum to belong to. But in general, this is a good site for anyone concerned with getting good information and communicating with others involved in the issue.

Meth Kills

This is a relatively new forum dealing specifically with meth and given the enthusiasm and dedication the developer of this site has, look for it to grow quickly. Like any new forum, they are eager to acquire new members and you can show your support by signing up today. We are also members of this forum.

Discuss Meth

This forum is government sponsored, and it used to be a List/Serve. When it was in that format, there was a high level of activity, but since it changed to a forum, the activity level has gone way down. However, there are still a lot of people that seem to "lurk" on this site but just rarely post, because sometimes when you ask a question, you get a real good answer from multiple people. We are not members on this forum, but one of our close associates is, and she recommends it.

However, as we said, this is a government-sponsored site, and unfortunately, we're told that if you post something out of the bounds of the government's philosophy on drugs, it might not be approved. For example, extolling the virtues of medicinal marijuana might not get approved as a post on this forum.

Mothers Against Methamphetamine

This site was developed by Dr. Mary Holley, originally as a support mechanism for mothers affected by meth use. It has now mushroomed into a large group, with chapters throughout North America. We highly recommend this site.
